Toowoomba's Largest Girls' Night In
Toowoomba’s Largest Girls’ Night In (TLGNI) was founded in 2016, by an enthusiastic group of ladies, who realized by simply having a fantastic girl’s night together, much needed awareness and funds could be raised for women’s cancers. With humble beginnings, TLGNI is now an annual sell-out event where the guests enjoy food, music and girl time. All money raised is donated to the Girls’ Night In campaign for Cancer Council Queensland.
We choose to support Cancer Council because 50 women will be told today, and every day, they have breast or a gynaecological cancer.
We raise money for life saving research to take place. Cancer Council is leading the way in world-class research into all cancers, for all ages.
For Cancer Council, prevention messages are key. Preventing cancer is one of the most effective ways of creating a cancer free future. At least one in three cancer cases could be prevented and the number of cancer deaths could be reduced significantly by choosing a cancer smart lifestyle.
Coping with cancer is challenging. We fundraise so Cancer Council can deliver a comprehensive range of support services, including the 13 11 20 Helpline, counselling and transport services.
